Description
This class will help you understand the basic components of your handgun along with addressing self defense and proper mechanics related to grip, stance, and ammunition. You will be instructed on the differences between concealed and open carry in the State of Texas.
Topics Covered
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
Expectations and Outcomes
Student will leave course with the basic knowledge of handling firearms, increased situational awareness, firearm accessories and understanding of concealed vs. open carry.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Students can use 22,.380, 9mm, 40,45 and Revolvers for class.
Students need to bring the minimum of 50 rounds.
Protective eye and ear protection are required on the range.
All firearms must be in a holster or range bag.
NO FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOOM.
