Description

TConcealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

Class times 8:00 - 4:00, weather permitting range time will be done immediately after class. A lot for 2 hours however depending on class size, may be longer. 

Range fees $20 

Range locations can vary - ranges are within 5 - 15 miles away

If those that cannot make it on the scheduled range day, we will do our best to accommodate.

Please note that you do not have to own a firearm to attend nor to qualify. We have firearms for rent and if you need ammunition, reach out to us well in advance.

In addition to the State requirements, we discuss firearm basics and safety, sfe shooting fundamentals, conflict respolution, situational awareness, safe storage of ammunition and firearms in your home. 

Expectations and Outcomes

Upon completion of the course (including range portion) your Completion Certificate and Score Sheet (MD only) will be provided to assist in applying for a Concealed Carrry Permit.

Please make sure you have your drivers license or state issued ID with you. 

We will provide lunch however please feel free to bring additional snacks and/or beverages. 

Requirements

For range portion of the class;

Please dress accordingly as the range is outdoors. No v-neck shirts (brass is hot), no open toed shoes and a brimmed hat is recommended.

• Exrta magazines if you would like
