Advanced Bleeding Control +

Description

Alamo LTC, LLC offers Advanced Bleeding Control + to teach life saving skills to residents who are concerned about learning critical skills for an active shooter, car/motorcyle crash, injury/accident at work, camping, hunting, hiking, or Scouting activities. No medical experience is required. All medical supplies are provided. No fake blood is used that could ruin your clothes. The course is taught using combat proven techniques and with proven methods of instruction. This is a low stress and relaxed class. 

Course runs from 0800-1200 Noon
Cost: $99 per person

• Identifying life threatening bleeding
• Visual/Physical Blood Sweep
• Apply a Tourniquet
• Emergency movement of a casualty
• Positioning a casualty
• Utilize direct pressure, elevation and pressure points together
• Wound packing
• Chest seals
• Treat for shock
• Calling for help
• What makes a good medical kit for trauma

Expectations and Outcomes

• Be prepared to work on the floor as required
• Wear comfortable clothing and footwear that enables movement
• Recommended to bring a notepad and pen to takes notes
• Bring an opened mind and desire to learn
• Students will learn life saving skills
• All medical supplies will be provided
• Students will receive a Certificate of Completion upon the class conclusion 
• Students may not miss more than 20 mins of instruction to receive a Certificate of Completion
