Description
Archangel Training Academy is proud to offer a first aid, CPR, and AED training course that meets the requirements of the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) for Special Police Officer, Security Officers, childcare, daycare, and preschool workers in the DMV.
Our CPR and AED training course teaches laypersons or general level providers how to respond to common emergencies, such as choking and sudden cardiac arrest in all age groups, including adults, children and infants. In addition, it teaches the use of AED devices, and why it is such a critical part of the chain of survival.
Archangel Training Academy doesn’t just focus on the basic steps and numbers of providing CPR, or the bare bones of "how-to" on the use of an AED (automatic external defibrillator). Instead, this course covers why CPR and AEDs are necessary. Many rescuers never fully understand why they are so important to the survival of cardiac arrest victims, despite this understanding being a critical element of any training course.
In addition, this certification course will help you to understand what to expect when providing aid in a real world environment, and how to properly respond in order to ensure the best possible chance of survival.
