This course is a basic review of low light pistol operations for law enforcement and military members.
We will discuss the use of handheld light sources and weapon mounted flashlights and the benefits and limitations of each.
Course will begin in the classroom and finish on the range with live-fire drills.
Law Enforcement/MIL Identification
Pistol and holster (Duty belt prefered but not required)
50 rounds of ammunition
Eye and hearing protection
Use of force considerations
Proper use of flashlight and weaponlight
Pistol mounted optics
Human eye anatomy/physiology
Expectations and Outcomes
Students will complete the course with a better understand of basic low light pistol operations AND complete MPOETC Adverse Light Qualification course of fire.
