Description

This is a Night Vision Use & Tactics Course. This course will train students the fundamentals of night vision operation, use, and tactics. Starting with gear/rig choice, setup, maintenance, and use. The course provides students the tools for learning to effectively move, shoot, and communicate in low/no-light environments. Students actively engage in a variety of movements and live-fire exercises aimed at producing a core proficiency with night vision devices. Intermediate marksmanship and safe weapons handling skills are required and recommended to have previously taken tactical weapons, or low-light training. Please arrive with your weapon optics zeroed.

*AMMO – Pistol 200rds Carbine 300rds

*Eye and Ear Protection (Prescription glasses are fine)

*Image intensified night vision device (not digital) with helmet mount (Limited rentals available contact Battleline for info)

*NV capable carbine optic (& Weapon light recommended)

*Pistol with Hand held Flashlight or Mounted White Light on Pistol

*Water and Snacks are the responsibility of the student.

*Applicable Clothing/Gear for Cold Weather Conditions [Average Weather for this date/location is low 30s to high 50s] we will have fire pits/heat source on the range.

Carbine Infrared aiming laser- (Limited Rentals Available) NOTE: Feel free to bring any mounted carbine or pistol visible laser pointers. Not all are compatible with NVG's and some do bleed into IR lasers but we will have the opportunity to try them at the beginning of class.

Not Required - Can bring your personal range medical/Stop Bleed kit.

NOTE: Battleline will provide afternoon meals both nights during the course. There will be s’mores around the fire pits.
