Description
The National Train A Teacher Day movement began shortly after the Parkland tragedy.Firearm safety and defense Instructors,Grant Gallagher and Klint Macro set aboutorganizing instructors from across the country to offer free trainingon a specific date.The1stAnnual NTATD went off without a hitchin 2018. In 2019 more volunteers joined theeffort and even more end users were trained.The 3rdAnnual NTATD, in 2020, youth leaders(scouts, church, extracurricular) were added as the individuals eligible for training. The 3rdAnnual NTATD was reschedule fromits original date in June to August because of thepandemic and even though about ½ of the volunteer cadre were unable to offer a programdue to local restrictions, we still provided training to hundreds of end users across thenation
