USCCA Home Defense & Concealed Carry 2-Day

Description

The USCCA developed the programs known as Basic Handgun, Home Defense, and Concealed Carry. The courses of instruction ran consecutively in there entirety, total to 16 hours. This course is a combination of all three courses of instruction.The USCCA has provided us at First Line Tactical with an awesome Day 1 presentation where we will cover the following topics, including hands on practical exercises, 

- Basic Handgun Safety Fundamentals
- Basic Handgun Shooting Fundamentals
- Legal Use of Force inside the home
- What a home defense plan is, why its important, and how to develop one
- Gears and Gadgets for Handguns
- Less Lethal use of force options, and the considerations
- Conflict avoidance, and avoiding becoming the victim
- Introduction into more advanced shooting fundamentals,

and much more!

The students will be provided dry firing techniques and other at home training practices to develop there new skills better prior to the live range portion. Students will return to the range a week later for an 8 hour range day! The range will have heat on sight, and many breaks are given to accomodate any inclimate weather. On the range we will cover the following topics,

- Range Safety Procedure
- Bulls eye shooting
- Loading and Unloading
- Slide Lock Reloading 
- Multiple Targets
- Flash Sight Picture Shooting,

and much more!

Students at the completion of the two days will have a comprehensive knowledge of range safety, handgun fundamentals, considerations and planning for home defense, and concealed carry. Students will be provided a certificate for the two day blended course. This course has not gone up in cost, but has been blended into a 2 day course, as to prior being ran as individual courses.

Expectations and Outcomes

At the end of this course the student should have the confidence and ability to develop a home safety plan with the family, effectively and safely use there firearm if needed. Be edeucated on the fundamentals of concealed carry, and the considerations that come with concealed carry. Students should have developed a mindset into situation awareness and began to develop muscle memory. It is encouraged students continue training wether with themselves, us, or another instruction group to maintain the new skills. Your life may depend on it.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

- Student Owned Firearm or Rental Firearm
- 200 rounds of ammunition 
- Ear Protection 
- Eye Protection
- 2 magazines for firearm
- holster is optional for this course
- Packed Lunch on either day, snacks will be provided
