Description
Arrive at 8am for cofee and donuts, The morning segment covers the laws concerning deadly force, where you can and cannot carry, and how to get your permit. We take the standard 20 question test and have lunch, Chicken creole, salad and dessert. In the afternoon we cover safety, storage, handgun choices, marksmanship skills, carry methods, maintenance, ammuniltion, and practice drills. Then we go to our onsite indoor/outdoor range for qualification. If needed, guns and ammunition are provided at no additional cost. Dick Jones has been a compensated instructor since 1980 and has competed and coached at a national level. He has served as an instructor for Cerino Training and Consulting in Rittman Ohio and Gun Talk's Range Ready in Robert Louisanna.
Topics Covered
The course covers the laws concerning the use of deadly force, where you can and cannot carry, and how to obtain your permit. In the afternoon we cover safety, storage, handgun choices, marksmanship skills, carry methods and presentation as well as ammunition, maintenance, and practice drills.
Expectations and Outcomes
At the end of the class you'll have the certificate needed to apply for your concealed carry permit and a knowlege of how to be effective in the safe operation of a handgun.

Requirements
Wear comfortable clothes for weather conditions, Eye and ear protection is provided as well as loaner guns and ammunition if needed. Closed toed shoes highly reccomended.
