Description
This course is for everyone. We will start with the basics of handgun shooting on a traditional static range. Then go to more advanced skills on a non-traditional range with reactive targets. This will cover safety, parts of the firearm, shooting fundamentals, drawing from a concealed holster, reloads, malfunction clearing and 9 shooting drills that build skill. Then 2 shooting quals, situational drills, includes unorthodox shooting (kneeling,supine, sitting).
You will also receive a student book with all pertinent information.

Expectations and Outcomes
My expectation is to see marked improvement in safety, weapons manipulations, and marksmanship. By doing so you will no longer be an "informed shooter" but a KNOWLEDGEABLE SHOOTER.

Requirements
- Hearing and Eye protection
- A reliable Handgun in 9mm, 40 s&w or 45ACP
- If your EDC firearm is different still bring it.
- 800 Rounds of ammo (you will shoot at least 700 rounds)
- Minimum of 3 magazines
- A non-collapsible holster designed for your firearm
- A sturdy belt
- A flashlight
- The ability to take notes on the range
- Cleaning kit and tools
- Snacks to include water
- Dress for the weather
