Description
This course is designed for new shooters. Those who are looking to become familiar with a newly purchased handgun or to learn what handgun may be right for you. You will learn the basics of firearm safety, safe gun handling and how to shoot a qualification course. We will utilize Adaptive Training Weapons to help overcome the apprehension many new gun owners may have. You will learn to "walk before you run."
Women, this course is perfect for you. You will work with my wife and me as we teach you the basics of safety and proper techniques.
This IS NOT a CCW Course. This is the class you should take before you decide to carry concealed.

Documentation Requirements
Registration ends 48 hours prior to the listed class date. The classroom portion will be held from 8am-noon. The range portion will be from 1PM - 5PM (approximately) at the Three Peaks Range in Cedar City. Please bring your own snacks and water. You will have 60 minutes for lunch prior to the start of our time at the range but plan for approx. 30 minutes of drive time so you won't miss any of the instruction at the range.
Requirements
You DO NOT need to own a firearm to take this course. If you have already purchased one and you want to learn how to use it, great! If you are thinking of purchasing one you should take this course before you spend your hard-earned money. We will utilize Adaptive Training and laser firearms to teach you the proper techniques safely. We will provide a small-caliber handgun for you to shoot the qualification course if you wish.
Bullets right now are both expensive and hard to find. The maximum amount of ammunition used in this course will be 50 rounds.
