Description

Once you pass the on line e-learning class, the two day on site classroom and the range shooting test, you are immediately certified and have the materials to teach 3 exciting classes, Basic Pistol, Concealed Carry and Home Defense.

You also qualify to be approved for our 3 new exciting classes, Emergency First Aid, Women's Handgun & Self Defense and Countering the Mass Shooter Threat. Only USCCA Certified Instructors may qualify to teach these classes after taking and passing elearning at their own pace and. No classroom work with a Training Counselor is needed to teach these new and dynamic classes.

The 7 topics covered in the over 300 PowerPoint Slides and 14 videos provided by USCCA are:

Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan

Self-defense Firearms Basics

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

The Legal Use of Force

Violent Encounters and their Aftermath

Gear and Gadgets

Basic and Advanced Skills

Using various combinations of the slides are videos you are trained and certified to conduct three different classes. Class times shown below are USCCA recommended times, add time for breaks, range time and additional discussion as needed:

Home Defense 2.5 hrs

Basic Pistol 2.5 hrs

Concealed Carry 4.5 hrs

Expect a fast-paced class and lots of interaction and participation by your fellow candidates. We require you already have strong safety skills and the desire to share your knowledge with others, while following USCCA rules doctrine and procedures. We will demonstrate how we want the material taught, and then have you teach it back and receive feedback and suggestions.

Expectations and Outcomes

We will assure all successful candidates have the comprehensive knowledge of the material and how to present it the USCCA way. We will also assure you have a solid understanding of our code of conduct and administrative procedures. We will also discuss how to plan, budget for and advertise your class to assist you in being a successful instructor.

You can also just call me at (520) 477-1251 and we can set a mutually convenient time to discuss this further.

While more than half of my instructor candidates are already certified, generally by the NRA, I welcome experienced and safe handgunners.
