Participants must be intermediate shooters (able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group) to maximize what can be learned from this. This course may be used to obtain a ccw. However it is not a basic course.
This is an 8-hour course and students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety, and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development, after incident procedures, Holster, belt, light, and equipment selection.
This course is perfect for the person concerned about the safety and security of their home. Spend the day with Multiple Certified firearms and self defense law instructors gaining the Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude necessary to defend your home and family when the time comes.

Students should expect to shoot approximately 150 rounds of ammunition with their handgun Eye and ear protection is required while on the range You will also need a Holster that stays open when the gun is removed, a spare magazine and something to carry your spare magazine.
