This class is a deeper dive into handguns where we'll compare the semi-automatic to the revolvers, discuss the advantages/ disadvantages of each type of gun, discuss the parts that make up a cartridge , learn about common weapon malfunctions and how to safely and quickly resolve them, see an array of holster types and discuss all of the options we have for carrying our gun on and off body, we'll talk a lot about the importance of situational awareness and how to incorporate it into your daily activities AND we'll have a bit of a concealed carry fashion show featuring some of the fashionable, yet functional, ways ladies can carry and look good doing it!  And we'll hit the range for some more live-fire shooting -- this time engaging multiple targets. And different calibers than beginning classes use. You could say "You're movin on up"!

Expectations and Outcomes

At the end of this class you will have learned about the function, care and control of your firearm. You will also move up in caliber size so you can begin to find out which style, size or even make of firearm would be appropriate for you. It really gets fun after this.
