Description

This 4 hour class is oriented towards effective use of a shotgun within a home for shooters of all skill levels.  The class will teach the basics of semi automatic and pump action shotguns, discuss ammunition selection, ballistics, and safety considerations along with effectiveness and limitations of the gauge.

Documentation Requirements

PLEASE carry all firearms in accordance with Ohio Law. We will give you an opportunity to swap out your
carry ammo with practice ammo at the start of class and swap them back at the end of class, if needed.
Please do not attempt to swap out ammo on your own. You must have an instructor with you up on the
designated firing line. ABSOLUTELY NO HANDLING OF WEAPONS BEHIND THE DESIGNATED FIRING
LINE AND WITHOUT AN INSTRUCTOR PRESENT.

Functional and Reliable shotgun, 12 or 20 gauge recommended
50 rounds of birdshot
10 rounds of buckshot
5 rounds of slug
Please know the longest and shortest in distance in your residence (hallway,  room, etc) 
Positive Attitude, Desire to learn

*Note on ammo ammo selection - if your barrel  is smooth, all slugs must be rifled. If your barrel is rifled, all slugs must be smooth and you should not shoot bird or buck shot through your rifled barreled shotgun.

A demo shotgun (12 gauge) is available as needed.
