Description
Our Missouri CCW course is designed to equip responsible citizens with the knowledge, skills, and legal understanding required to carry a concealed firearm safely and lawfully. This state-approved class meets all requirements set forth by Missouri law for obtaining your concealed carry permit.
Missouri laws regarding the use of force and concealed carry
Firearm safety fundamentals
Safe handling, loading, and unloading of handguns
Proper storage and transport of firearms
Situational awareness and conflict avoidance
Basic marksmanship and shooting fundamentals
Live-fire qualification on the range
Classroom instruction (legal and safety training)
Range time and live-fire qualification
Certificate of Completion upon passing
All necessary paperwork for CCW permit application
Must be at least 19 years old (or 18 if active military)
Must be a Missouri resident or member of the armed forces stationed in Missouri
A working handgun and at least 40 rounds of ammunition (rentals available upon request)
Eye and ear protection (available if needed)

This course meets or exceeds the standards required by Missouri law for CCW certification. Whether you’re new to firearms or just need a legal update, you’ll leave better prepared and more confident in your rights and responsibilities.
Expectations and Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will have gained the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills necessary to carry a concealed firearm safely and responsibly under Missouri law.
Demonstrate safe handling, loading, and unloading of a handgun
Understand and apply Missouri laws regarding concealed carry and use of force
Complete a live-fire qualification to demonstrate shooting competency
Know where and when they can legally carry a firearm
Be able to assess threats and make sound decisions in high-stress situations
Learn how to avoid conflict and respond appropriately after a defensive encounter
Students who successfully complete all classroom and range requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is required to apply for a Missouri Concealed Carry Permit at your local Sheriff’s Office.

To ensure a smooth check-in and training process, please review and complete the following before class:

Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Proof of Missouri Residency (if ID does not reflect your current address)
Handgun & 40 Rounds of Ammunition
(Bring your own or request a rental if needed — contact us in advance)Eye and Ear Protection
(Available on-site if you do not have your own)Pen and Notepad (optional but recommended)
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
To participate in this course, all students must meet the following equipment and eligibility requirements:
A functional handgun (semi-automatic or revolver)
Must be in safe working condition
Rental firearms are available upon request — please notify us in advance
Minimum of 40 rounds of factory-loaded ammunition
No reloads or handloads permitted
Bring additional ammo if you’d like to practice beyond the qualification
Eye protection (ANSI Z87+ rated recommended)
Hearing protection (in-ear or over-the-ear; electronic muffs preferred)
Proper attire:
Close-toed shoes
Hat with brim (recommended)
High-neck shirt or t-shirt (to avoid brass burns)
Valid photo ID (state-issued driver's license or ID card)
Must be a Missouri resident or active military stationed in Missouri
Must be 19 or older, or 18 if active duty military
All firearms must arrive unloaded and in a secure case. Students must demonstrate safe handling at all times. If you are unsure if your firearm or gear meets these requirements, contact us prior to class.
