Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Understand the nomenclature of TASER Civilian Devices and cartridges.
  2. Demonstrate safe handling and operation of TASER Civilian Devices.
  3. Explain and apply proper probe placement for effective self-defense.
  4. Successfully pass a written exam on TASER device safety and operation.
  5. Safely and effectively operate a TASER Self Defense device in various scenarios.
  6. Adhere to all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and license requirements for TASER device ownership and use.
  7. Identify the different TASER device models and their unique features.
  8. Safely load and unload TASER devices.
