Description
Topics covered: Understanding the Red Dot Sight (RDS) and selection of open vs closed emitter. How to properly Zero a RDS. Applying the Principles of Marksmanship with a Pistol RDS. Sight Acquisition and Dot Tracking. How to change from Front Sight to Target Focused Shooting. Learn to Self diagnose shooting deficiencies with the RDS. Downed Optic Drills. Engaging multiple targets/threats.

Requirements
You will need: Eye and ear protection as well as a baseball style hat. Handgun (preferably 9mm, 40 S&W or 45 ACP) equipped with a red dot sight. A good holster and mag pouch with a sturdy belt. A least one, preferably two SPARE magazines. Snacks, lunch, and a chair are strongly encouraged to make the most of our time on the range. Ammunition: Bring at least 600 rounds.
