Description

This 8-hour Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) course meets state training requirements and is designed for responsible citizens seeking to carry a concealed handgun lawfully and confidently.

The course includes classroom instruction covering firearm safety, Colorado use-of-force law, legal responsibilities of concealed carry, and best practices for safe handling and storage. Students will also complete a live-fire range qualification to demonstrate safe and competent firearm operation.

Students must bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

• A reliable handgun in a common defensive caliber
• Eye and ear protection
• Closed-toe shoes and appropriate range attire

Firearms must be transported safely and unloaded when arriving at the range. Rental equipment may be available upon request.

Sig Sauer P-series firearms are not permitted for use in this course.
