Description
Red dot optics are the latest trend in the firearms world, and with good reason! Learn the benefits of using a red dot to acquire targets more quickly, and to deploy your pistol more effectively. This class will cover the many benefits of shooting with a red dot, how to properly zero your dot, how to acquire the dot quickly and consistently every single time, through a natural and efficient presentation, how to shoot more quickly and accurately through proper visual focus & recoil management.

Expectations and Outcomes
After attending this course, students should have a greater comfort level in effectively deploying their red dot pistol, consistently finding the dot, and increasing their efficiency in their draw, presentation, and engagement of targets more quickly & accurately.

Requirements
It is essential that you bring the required equipment listed below to participate in the course:
Appropriate range attire (No V-neck or tank top shirts)
Eye & ear protection (electronic preferred)
Semi-automatic pistol with slide mounted red dot sight
At least 2-3 additional magazines and magazine carrier
At least 500 rounds of reliable ammunition
High quality concealment or open carry holster (appendix or strong side carry) with appropriate belt (no shoulder holsters, cross-draw, collapsable belly band, "Uncle Mike's" or serpa style holsters. A good kydex holster is preferred. Holster must be able to maintain its shape & accommodate one handed re-holstering).

Plan to bring your lunch, as there will not a lot of restaurants nearby and we will not have time to leave the training site for lunch.
