Description
NRA’s Basics of Pistol Shooting is a hands on beginner’s level class designed for new shooters to learn the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning, maintaining and using a pistol safely. This class includes: firearms safety, handgun nomenclature and operation, ammo knowledge, basic shooting fundamentals, selecting/maintaining your pistol, and will guide you through your first shots on the range!

Expectations and Outcomes
Students who complete this course will become more comfortable in their understanding of how handguns operate, how to handle them safely, how to operate & maintain them, and learn fundamental marksmanship skills. Students who successfully complete this course will receive the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting certification.
