Description
This class is designed to provide new shooters a safe and structured introduction to the basic gun handling, firearms safety, and the fundamentals of handgun shooting. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary. We will guide you step by step in a small group class to help you to establish a great foundation and build confidence in your handgun knowledge and fundamental skills.

Expectations and Outcomes
After attending this course, students will have a more thorough understanding and be able to demonstrate the ability to articulate the basic rules of gun safety, demonstrate safe gun handling & manipulations, and gain confidence in the basic fundamentals of handgun shooting.

Requirements
What to Bring:
- Appropriate range attire (closed toed shoes, no v-neck or tank top shirts)
- Eye/ear protection (electronic preferred); rentals available at no cost
- Semi-automatic pistol in good working order (mid-full sized gun recommended); handgun/ammunition rental available
- At least 2 magazines
- Ammunition (150 rounds)
- Note-taking materials
- Water/beverage/snacks
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Rain gear as appropriate
