Description
For US Citizens looking to become competent and confident with thier AR-15 based weapon platform.
Morning:
AR-15 basics.
Classroom introduction to safety, gun parts, controls, disassembly and reassembly of AR-15.
Mount, safety manipulation, aiming offset, marksmanship, multiple rounds, stoppages, zero (50 yard range)
Afternoon:
Rifleman Workshop:
Sling use, Field positions, Prone Zero (50 yard range), intensive marksmanship, up close engagment, challenging and competetive drills.

Expectations and Outcomes
This is BOTH parts of our Carbine curriculum in one day continuous class. Can be taken as a whole or half day parts.
zero-sixty class can bring a student who is brand new to the AR-15 up to the level of comfortably and confidently (and safely) running the gun, getting a zero, hitting out to 50 yards, engaging close up threats, using a sling and safely moving with and mounting the carbine, and using different field positions depending on the shot needed.

Documentation Requirements
Please bring Drivers License to class. Class is open only to US Citizens.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
AR-15 in good working condition with sigthing system (optic or "iron" sights),
Sling required for afternoon session. 2 point sling recommended.
3 or more magazines. (more is better)
300 rounds of factory quality ammunition.
Drinks and snacks.
Eye and ear protection.
Recommended:
Knee and elbow pads. Shooting mat if you have one.
Sunblock, Bug spray.
