Documentation Requirements

All students are required to present a valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver's license, state ID card, passport) at the beginning of the course to confirm their identity. Failure to present valid identification may result in the student not being permitted to participate.Students must be legally permitted to possess a firearm under all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements:

Students are allowed and encouraged to bring their own firearms in safe working condition, along with a minimum of 50 rounds of the correct ammunition for their firearm. Augusta Firearms Academy has a limited number of pistols available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Eye and ear protection is mandatory for all participants on the range; Augusta Firearms Academy will provide these items if needed. Students who are minors (under 18 years of age) are required to have a parent or legal guardian participate alongside them for the entire duration of the course. Participants should dress appropriately for outdoor weather conditions. Close-toed shoes are required for safety. Low-cut shirts are not permitted, and long sleeves are encouraged for added protection. Wearing a hat with a brim is also recommended for protection. Returning students will need to confirm the requirements based on the current training level.
