  • Understanding Bleeding: Learn to identify and assess different types of bleeding, from minor cuts to severe arterial wounds. Discover how to identify, assess and respond promptly to control bleeding and save lives.

    Safety and Scene Management: Understand the importance of personal safety and how to ensure the safety of the injured person and others at the scene.

    Proper Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Understand the importance of using gloves and other protective gear to prevent infection while providing first aid.

    Direct Pressure Techniques: Master the art of applying direct pressure and utilizing bandages and dressings to control bleeding.

    Tourniquet Application: Learn when and how to use a tourniquet to control severe bleeding, including proper application and potential risks.

    Wound Packing: Learn how to pack wounds effectively, especially in cases of deep wounds or those that do not respond to direct pressure.
