Description
The Concealed Carry Way is Bear Arms Training’s flagship concealed carry course, designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge for responsible firearm ownership and self-defense. This comprehensive 6-hour course combines classroom instruction with practical range exercises, focusing on:
- Situational awareness and threat assessment 
- De-escalation techniques and conflict resolution 
- Legal aspects of concealed carry and use of force 
- Safe firearm handling and concealed carry methods 
- Drawing from concealment and engaging targets under stress 
Students will engage in realistic scenarios to develop decision-making skills and muscle memory, ensuring preparedness for real-world situations. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which may be used for obtaining a Virginia Concealed Carry Permit.

Documentation Requirements
Students must bring a valid photo ID. Email confirmation will include range location, directions, and class checklist.
                                                                
                                                                The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
                                                            
Requirements
- Firearm: Fully functional handgun chambered in 9mm, .40, or .45 caliber. Subcompact handguns smaller than a Glock 26/27 are not recommended. 
- Magazines: Minimum two functional magazines. 
- Ammunition: 100–150 rounds of factory-loaded FMJ target ammunition. 
- Holster: OWB holster covering the trigger guard, designed for your firearm. Cross-draw holsters not allowed. 
- Magazine Carrier: Belt-mounted, compatible with your magazines. 
- Eye Protection: Safety glasses (prescription acceptable). 
- Ear Protection: Required; available for purchase/rent if needed. 
- Attire: Concealment garment (jacket, button-down, or sweatshirt), closed-toe shoes, optional ball cap. 
- Notebook & Pen: Recommended for note-taking during classroom instruction. 
- Optional: Personal firearm and ammunition cleaned and function-checked prior to class.
