Documentation Requirements

Students must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in (Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport). Registered students receive an email with private range directions, safety rules, and a detailed gear checklist prior to class. 

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

  • Firearm: High-quality, semi-automatic pistol (9mm recommended; .40/.45 acceptable). Clean and function-checked prior to arrival. Bear Arms Training

  • Magazines: Minimum two serviceable magazines (spare mags strongly recommended).

  • Ammunition: 250+ rounds factory-loaded target ammunition (bring extra for extended diagnostics).

  • Holster: Secure OWB holster that fully covers the trigger guard and is properly fitted for your firearm (no cross-draw). No SERPA.

  • Magazine Carrier / Belt: Sturdy belt and belt-mounted mag carrier for rapid reloads.

  • Safety Gear: Mandatory eye & ear protection (on-site rentals available).

  • Attire: Closed-toe shoes and comfortable, range-appropriate clothing that allows movement.

  • Tools: Notebook/pen for metrics, and optional phone/tablet for review (if instructor permits data capture).

  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in and gear check.
