Topics Covered
CPR - Participants learn how to administer CPR, which involves chest compressions and rescue breaths.
AED Training - Participants learn to use an AED - a device that can analyze the heart's rhythm and deliver a shock if necessary.
First Aid - Participants learn basic first aid skills for the most common emergenices and how to stop bleeding.
Expectations and Outcomes
Certifications will be emailed after the successful completion of the class. Students must participate in hands on activities and demonstrate successful CPR/AED/and First Aid skills to earn the certification. Certification is valid for two years.

Requirements
To earn the certification, students must successfully demonstrate the ability to perform high quality CPR. Students who are unable to successfully demonstrate effective CPR skills will not be able to be certified.
