Expectations and Outcomes
Students will receive a certificate of completion for the course. This certificate IS NOT a concealed carry permit. In NC, the student will apply for a concealed carry handgun permit in the county in which they reside, and will follow instructions from the Sheriff's Office on how to proceed with the application, fingerprints, background checks, and fees. The certificate will be taken with you to the Sheriff's Office. Please contact your local Sheriff's Office Gun Permit Department on their specific process.
For SC Concealed Carry Permits, you will receive documentation of completion of the class and the CWP application form to submit to SLED. Please visit sled.sc.gov for further instructions on processing the application in South Carolina.
