Senior Instructor
Jay Brown spent 22 years in the US Navy Submarine Force where he was certified as a Master Training Specialist an expert marksman and a close quarters combat instructor.  He has taught Security Engagement Tactics, Self Defense and home protection methods for over 30 years and has competed in Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Judo, Jujitsu and Firearms events.  Jay is a certified firearms and close quarters combat instructor and has trained with security and martial arts teams around the world.  He received his master's degree in education from Valdosta State University and his training methods are second to none.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Becuause of expenses incurred if you cancel a course or do not show and do not rescheduled you will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. In the event that BBUTA cancels we will offer you a class at a later date that will fit your schedule. At the discretion of the instructor and depending on the length of the class if you are late you will have to reschedule. ( 8 hour class no more than 30 minutes late, 4 hours class no more than 15 minutes late)

Reschedule Policy

If you have to reschedule before the class time there is no rescheduling fee, please be reminded that there will be no refunds and any deposits made will can be applied to other scheduled classes we offer.

Refund Policy

A refund may be requested for any class that allows refunds. Please be aware a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the class will apply if a refund is granted.  Most classes are nonrefundable, and are not eligible for vrefunds. However, the value of your payment  can be the applied toward any classes we offer.  

Credit card refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the request. All other refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the request

Your refund will be credited back to your original form of payment.

Other Policy

A “no-show” is someone who misses a scheduled class without canceling or rescheduling in advance of their scheduled class. “No-shows” will be charged 100% of the class amountbut will have the option to reschedule

Waiver

1. In consideration for receiving permission to participate in firearms or Self Defense training offered by Bushido Browns Ultimate Training Academy LLC I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Bushido Browns Ultimate Training Academy LLC, their officers, agents, or employees (Hereinafter referred to as releases) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever rising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury,  that may be sustained by me, or any of the property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the releases, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted.
2. I am fully aware of the risks involved and hazards connected with firearms and Self Defense training including but not limited to physical injury, hearing loss, sight loss, and I hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said activity with full knowledge that said activity may be hazardous to me and my property. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of being engaged in such an activity, whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise.
3. I further hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the releases from any loss, liability damage or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in said activity, whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise.
4. It is my express intent that this Waiver of Liability shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive, and my heirs, assigns and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the above named releases.
5. In signing this release, I acknowledge and represent that I have read the foregoing Waiver of Liability and understand it and sign it voluntarily as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statement, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; I am at lease (18 years of age and fully competent; and I execute this release for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by the same. I give permission for any photos taken during the training session to be used on social media platforms.
