NRA Pistol Instructor Training. Throughout this course you will learn how to actually teach the lessons in the NRA Basis of Pistol Shooting Course. You'll also learn teaching safely, instructional methods, what to look for, how to evaluate beginning Pistol shooters, how to improve them and conclude with the written exam.
Expectations and Outcomes
Instructor Candidates who complete and pass all courses get an NRA Pistol Instructor Certificate.

Requirements
Basic requirements are a Pistol, one magazine, 200 rounds of ammunition, highlighter, pen/paper for notes.
For the instructor manuals you will need two 3 ring binders (1.5"). You will be provided all printed materials.
Instructor qualification may be with any gun, any caliber and any sights.
20 rounds Standing (unsupported). 3 points given per hit in 4" group at 30'. 48/60 points is minimum total passing score.
