I understand that this is an activity involving the use of firearms, where live ammunition will be fired in combat-style shooting events. By participating in this activity, I hold harmless C&C Tactical Defense, Cyle Chapman, his NRA Instructors, and all other participants. Neither instructors, the owners of the property where the activity is held, nor other participants shall be liable for any accident, sickness or injury to myself or any member of my family or guest during my participation in this activity, or while traveling to or from this event. I hereby hold harmless, release and forever discharge C&C Tactical Defense, Cyle Chapman, his assistant instructors, former and present assignors and predecessors, insurers, agents, attorneys, executors, administrators, and each of them, from any and all claims, debts, actions, demands, liabilities, obligations, causes of action, of whatever kind or nature, which I may have, hold, or may hold in the future, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, liquidated or unliquidated, asserted or not asserted, in law or in equity, concerning or relating to my participation in C&C Tactical Defense activities. In addition, I forever waive any and all benefits and rights I may have, now hold or in the future may hold that concern, arise from or relate to my participation in C&C Tactical Defense activities by reason of California Civil Code § 1542, which provides: “A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor.”
