About Columbia Protection Group
Dwayne is the Owner and Lead Firearms Instructor for Columbia Protection Group located in the Portland Metro area.
Dwayne grew up in the Portland area enjoying hunting and fishing with his Father. After high school Dwayne joined the Navy where he became a noncommissioned officer and was selected as part of the Ships Security Augmentation Force. After leaving the Navy he also served in the Oregon National Guard as an Infantryman with a deployment to Iraq and several stateside national disaster deployments including Louisiana for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Before starting Columbia Protection Group in 2018, Dwayne worked for other security companies rising from Officer to Lieutenant. We focus on providing private security and personal protection classes and services.
Dwayne is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, DPSST Armed/Unarmed Security Officer and Executive Manager. He provides classes from OC Spray, Refuse To Be A Victim, Concealed Handgun,
Basic Pistol and Rifle through advanced classes.
In his spare time Dwayne likes to spend time with family, hunting, fishing, camping and coaching youth Lacrosse.
