Topics Covered

We will cover safe handling and use, ammunition, care of the handgun, and practice basic shooting on the range with YOUR gun. If you do not, yet, have your own gun, you will be able to use a gun provided by the instructor (small added fee). This course can cover use of a revolver or a semi-automatic pistol, customized for your interests.

The classroom portion of the course includes handling both inert training pistols and fully functional handguns, but with no live ammunition in the room at any time.

A second session at a range involves live fire of your selected handgun, and is required to complete the course.
