2. Operating System:

Ensure your device's operating system meets Zoom's minimum requirements. These can change, so it's best to check the latest Zoom system requirements for the most up-to-date information. As of late April 2025, generally supported systems include:

Windows: 10 (S Mode not supported), 8.1, 8, 7. Note that Zoom may discontinue support for older versions in the future.

Zoom Desktop Client: It's highly recommended to download and install the Zoom desktop application for the best experience and full features. You can download it from the Zoom Download Center.

Web Browser (as an alternative): While the desktop client or mobile app is preferred, you can join a Zoom class through a supported web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). However, the web client may have limited functionality. Ensure your browser is up to date.

Built-in webcam: Most modern laptops and tablets have a built-in webcam.
