Description

This message confirms your enrollment in the Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL) Renewal training course with Firearms Safety Academy.

This course is intended only for current or previously certified Illinois CCL holders who are completing their state-mandated renewal training. It is not an introductory firearms class. Students are expected to arrive with an existing working knowledge of handgun safety, operation, and basic marksmanship.

The renewal curriculum focuses on required statutory content, including an updated review of Illinois use-of-force law, changes to applicable statutes, and reinforced safety standards. Live-fire qualification, if required, will be conducted under direct instructor supervision in accordance with Illinois State Police requirements.

Students must arrive prepared with the following:
• A valid government-issued photo ID
• Proof of prior Illinois CCL training or license (if requested)
• Eye and ear protection
• A serviceable handgun and appropriate ammunition

Students who do not meet the minimum knowledge or safety expectations may be required to reschedule into a full-length course at additional cost.

Safety protocols are strictly enforced. Any unsafe handling, failure to follow instructions, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate dismissal without refund. These standards are necessary to protect all participants and maintain compliance with Illinois law.

Please note that completion of renewal training does not guarantee license approval or renewal. Final determination is made solely by the Illinois State Police following application submission and background review.

If you have questions about your eligibility for renewal training or are unsure whether this course is appropriate for your current skill level, contact us before your scheduled class date.

We appreciate your continued commitment to lawful and responsible concealed carry in Illinois. We look forward to working with you
