Description

A Non-Lethal Pepper Spray Class provides students with the knowledge and confidence to use pepper spray safely, effectively, and within the limits of the law. The course covers when and how to deploy pepper spray, proper grip and aiming techniques, threat recognition, and creating safe escape routes after deployment. Students also learn about decontamination procedures, post-incident responsibilities, and Illinois legal considerations governing the use of non-lethal defensive tools.

This hands-on class is designed for civilians, students, and first responders who wish to enhance their personal protection skills without relying on firearms. It emphasizes situational awareness, decision-making under stress, and responsible self-defense — ensuring that participants walk away prepared, informed, and empowered to protect themselves safely and lawfully.
