Description

This USCCA-certified course introduces students to the fundamentals of firearm safety, operation, and responsible ownership in a non-live fire environment. Using SIRT training pistols and laser cartridges, students will practice safe handling, proper stance and grip, sight alignment, and trigger control without the need for live ammunition. The class also covers safe storage, situational awareness, and the legal responsibilities of firearm ownership.
This course is ideal for first-time gun owners, those considering firearm ownership, or anyone seeking to build confidence before advancing to live-fire training.

Documentation Requirements

  • Valid government-issued ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, etc.)

  • Completed waiver form (required before participation)

  • Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (if applicable for advanced progression)

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

  • No live ammunition permitted in the classroom.

  • Personal firearms may be brought for demonstration, but must be unloaded upon arrival (mandatory at Comfort Inn & Suites — no exceptions).

  • SIRT training pistols and laser cartridges provided.

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for classroom drills.
