Description
"Hello everyone, and thank you for signing up for your Concealed Carry class with Firearms Training Colorado.
Before class day, it’s important to understand what this course is—and what it is not.
The 8-hour CCW course is not designed to teach you how to shoot, load, or operate a firearm.
This course is about the laws, responsibilities, and legal boundaries of carrying a concealed handgun.
It covers when deadly force is legally justified, how deadly force is evaluated, and what happens when deadly force ends.

Requirements
During the live-fire qualification, every student is expected to already know how to safely and competently handle a firearm.
Specifically, you must demonstrate:
A proper, secure grip
Trigger discipline — your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire
Muzzle control — keeping the firearm pointed safely at all times
Marksmanship — hitting the target at least 36 out of 50 rounds
Failure to meet these standards will mean you cannot complete your qualification that day.
