Description
This VA DCJS Unarmed Security Officer Core Subjects training is a two days 18 hours course. This course will teach you the basic functions of being a security officer in the State of Virginia. The 01E Training do not carry a firearm while performing there job duties.

The entry level curriculum for unarmed security officer, armed security officer/courier, security canine handler, and alarm respondent sets forth the following areas identified as:

Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of all initial training requirements for each registration category, including a firearms endorsement if applicable.
- Must be United States citizen or legal resident alien of the United States.
