Owner and Chief Instructor Rich Craig has been a USCCA Certified Instructor since 2018 and has more than 40 years of firearms experience. Rich has been trained by some of the best military and civilian firearms instructors in the country and is a qualified U.S. Navy Expert Pistol and Rifle marksman. Rich has a passion to pass on his knowledge to teach others how to not just defend themselves but also protect their loved ones and others. His mantra is "Always Be Ready So You Don't Have To Get Ready!"

Our curriculum is designed to take you from the initial spark of interest to a hardened, capable defender.

LEVEL 1: IGNITION

"The Spark"

• Prerequisite: None
• The Mission: Every fire begins with a spark. We strip away the intimidation of firearms and focus on safety, mindset, and the raw fundamentals.
• What You Will Learn: Universal Safety Rules, Range Etiquette, Grip & Stance, Sight Alignment, Trigger Control.

LEVEL 2: THE ANVIL

"The Work"

• Prerequisite: Ignition (or demonstrated basic proficiency)
• The Mission: Iron is shaped by striking. In this phase, we hammer out bad habits and shape good ones through high-volume repetition and professional critique.
• What You Will Learn: Draw Stroke Analysis, Emergency & Tactical Reloads, Malfunction Clearances, Recoil Management, Cadence.

LEVEL 3: THE CRUCIBLE

"The Test"

• Prerequisite: The Anvil
• The Mission: Impurities are burned away under heat. We introduce physical stress, time standards, and trauma care. You will learn to fight—and save lives—when your heart is racing.
• What You Will Learn: Stress Inoculation Drills, Shooting on the Move, Use of Cover, “Stop the Bleed” (Tourniquet Application & Hemorrhage Control), One-Handed Manipulation.

LEVEL 4: HARDENED STEEL

"The Mastery"

• Prerequisite: The Crucible
• The Mission: Resilient, Unbreakable, Battle-Ready. This is for the shooter who has survived the heat. We refine the smallest details to achieve maximum speed and precision that does not crack under pressure. This class also focuses on the "thinking shooter." We test your ability to make split-second decisions and fight from compromised positions.

•  What You Will Learn: Sub-second Standards, Rapid engagement of multiple attackers, Multiple Target Transition, High-speed target discrimination (Shoot/No-Shoot), Avoiding obstacles, and Accurate fire from kneeling, prone, supine, and compromised cover positions.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Students are required to cancel at least 5 days in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 5 days before the class will not be refunded.

Reschedule Policy

If a student needs to reschedule they must notify Forge Tactics via E-Mail at least 5 days in advance of scheduled class date. Student will be offered a spot in the next available same class.

Refund Policy

Other Policy

Until further notice we have banned the Sig Sauer P320 and all variants of the P320 in our classes and on our range.

Waiver

Please print and sign a waiver for each student using the links below. If you are bringing anynoe under the age of 18 make sure to use the waiver with a minor included. If you do not have the capability to sign the waiver electronically I will have some printed out at the beginning of class. This waiver must be complete prior to class start.
