Description

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat by the USCCA is a critical, reality-based course designed to prepare responsible citizens to recognize, avoid, and respond to active threat situations. This course moves beyond fear-driven headlines and focuses on real data, proven principles, and practical decision-making skills that can be applied in everyday life.

Students will learn how mass shooter events typically unfold, common warning signs, and effective actions to take before, during, and after an incident. Emphasis is placed on situational awareness, movement, communication, and personal safety—whether at home, work, school, or in public spaces.

A key component of this course is personal preparation. Each participant will create an at-home self-defense plan, tailored to their own household, lifestyle, and environment. This plan helps students think through realistic scenarios, identify safe areas, establish communication protocols, and make informed decisions under stress.

Requirements
