Description
Precision Scoped Rifle Foundation Class, an intensive 6-hour program designed to provide shooters with the core knowledge and skills for long-distance accuracy. This class is split into 2 hours of classroom instruction and 4 hours on the range.

DAY 1 FROGBONES FAMILY SHOOTING CENTER 5PM-7PM
DAY 2 SAINT CLOUD LONG RANGE 10AM-12PM
DAY 3 SAINT CLOUD LONG RANGE 2PM-4PM
The classroom portion will take place at Frogbones Family Shooting Center. Range sessions will be conducted at a long-distance outdoor range in Saint Cloud, FL, approximately a 45-minute drive from Frogbones. The specific address for the outdoor range will be provided during the classroom session. In the event of inclement weather, make-up sessions will be scheduled as needed to ensure all training objectives are met.
Topics Covered
What You Will Learn:
- Rifle and Scope Essentials: Develop a solid understanding of precision rifle and scope terminology (including Minute-of-Angle and Milliradians), setup, function, and cleaning/maintenance.
- External Ballistics: Gain a basic understanding of how external and atmospheric influences affect bullet flight over long distances.
- Marksmanship Fundamentals: Refine your fundamentals, learn and apply the "shot process," and understand the use of a dope book.
- Data Acquisition: Gather critical chrono data for your rifle/ammo combination and develop a data card with an introduction to electronic ballistics.

Requirements
Required Equipment:
- Precision Scoped Rifle: Bolt-action or semi-automatic capable of 1 MOA accuracy. Only one rifle is permitted.
- Optics: Rifle scope with a preferred minimum 3x18 magnification (LPVOs are also permitted).
- Accessories: Bipod, match-grade ammunition (approx. 100 rounds of lead core for steel targets), rifle cleaning kit, field notebook, and pencils, and water bottle.
- Safety Gear: Hat with a brim, wraparound eyewear, earmuffs, and earplugs.
- Estimated round count: 100 rounds rifle
- Lead core ammunition to be used on steel only
- No green/brown tip, armor piercing, or surrogate rounds to be used on steel at any time
