Troy Andrews is a highly experienced security professional, certified instructor, and leader with over 15 years of hands-on experience in security operations, law enforcement support, and fugitive apprehension.

As the lead instructor of Frontline Carry Academy, Troy brings real-world insight into every course he teaches. His background includes high-risk environments, protective services, and field operations where situational awareness, quick decision-making, and proper use of force are critical. This experience allows him to provide students with practical, no-nonsense training that goes far beyond textbook instruction.
Troy specializes in concealed carry education, defensive mindset development, and real-world application of firearm safety. His teaching approach is focused on building confidence, responsibility, and preparedness in every student—whether they are brand new to firearms or seeking to sharpen their existing skills.
Known for his calm, professional instruction style, Troy emphasizes safety, legal understanding, and the importance of making sound decisions under pressure. His mission is simple: to ensure that every student leaves trained, informed, and prepared to protect themselves and others responsibly.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice may be rescheduled for a future date at no additional cost.We understand that life happens and unexpected situations come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule your training, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled class.Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class may be subject to a forfeiture of payment or a rescheduling fee.That said, we know things don’t always go as planned. If an emergency or unavoidable situation arises, please reach out—we’ll do our best to work with you and find a new date that fits your schedule.Our goal is to be fair, flexible when possible, and keep training accessible while respecting time and preparation for each class.

Reschedule Policy

We understand that schedules can change, and we aim to provide flexibility whenever possible.Students may reschedule their training with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to their scheduled class without any additional fees. Rescheduled sessions must be booked for a future available date.Requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled class may be subject to a rescheduling fee and are not guaranteed.We know that unexpected situations happen. If you’re dealing with an emergency or unavoidable conflict, please reach out as soon as possible—we’ll make every reasonable effort to accommodate you and get you into another class.All rescheduled training must be completed within a reasonable timeframe from the original booking date.

Refund Policy

All course fees are non-refundable. Once a training session has been booked, your spot is reserved and resources are allocated specifically for you.If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, we encourage you to take advantage of our rescheduling policy by providing at least 48 hours’ notice.In certain circumstances, such as verified emergencies or unforeseen events, we may review requests on a case-by-case basis. While refunds are not guaranteed, we will make every reasonable effort to offer a rescheduled training date.No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled class.Our goal is to maintain fairness for all students while ensuring the highest quality training experience.

Other Policy

1. No-Show Policy
If a student doesn’t show up and doesn’t notify , they forfeit their spot and payment.
 
2. Late Arrival Policy
Students arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may be denied entry or required to reschedule.
 
3. Safety & Conduct Policy (VERY IMPORTANT)
Zero tolerance for unsafe handling
Immediate dismissal for reckless behavior
No drugs or alcohol (before or during class)
 
 
4. Liability Waiver / Assumption of Risk
This is non-negotiable.
Acknowledgement of risk
Agreement not to hold us liable for accidents (within reason)

5. Weather Policy
If severe weather forces cancellation, you’ll reschedule at no cost.
 
6. Equipment & Requirements Policy
Required gear (firearm, ammo, eye/ear protection, etc.) if you show up unprepared you will forfeit your payment and will not be able to reschedule without a fee.
 
7. Certification / Completion Policy
Requirements to pass (attendance, participation, safety)
Right to deny certification if standards aren’t met
 
8. Age & Eligibility Policy
Especially important for CCW-related training.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need any prior experience to take this class?

No prior experience is required. Our courses are designed to accommodate beginners as well as those looking to sharpen their existing skills. We start with the fundamentals and build from there

2. What should I bring to class?

Students should bring their firearm (if they own one), ammunition(250-300 rnds), eye and ear protection(both), and a valid form of identification. A detailed equipment list will be provided after registration to ensure you’re fully prepared.

3. Can I still attend if I don’t own a firearm?

Yes. We can provide guidance on rental options or assist you in getting hands-on experience safely during the course.

4. How long are the training classes?

Class durations vary depending on the course, but most sessions range from a few hours to a full day. Specific timing details are provided at the time of booking.

5. Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?

Yes. Students who successfully complete the training and meet all safety and participation requirements will receive a certificate of completion.
