Description
Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, hunters and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.

Expectations and Outcomes
The course is based on the 2010 Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, and helps course participants learn how to respond to more than 25 first aid emergencies – during times when help may be delayed. It's a great resource for scouts, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone who works or plays in a remote environment. The Guide and Pocket Guide are not only used during the course, but can serve as important emergency references after training is complete.

Documentation Requirements
Bring your CURRENT First Aid, CPR, AED Certificate Card from any certifying agency (ARC, AHA, NSC, etc).
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Additional Information Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/FA/AED certification.
