Defensive Pistol (8 hours )

Description

This defensive pistol course will push shooters to their limits. It’s tailored for those confident in handling their weapon systems. Participants will learn how to operate their weapons effectively and engage opponents at close range, using both their dominant and non-dominant hands. The course also focuses on teamwork, communication, threat prioritization, and the vital concept that movement is key in a gunfight.

Topics Covered

• Shooting fundamentals include mastering biomechanics, close-range accuracy, and effective use of cover and concealment. It’s also important to practice alternate shooting positions, one-handed techniques, and handling weapon malfunctions, as well as performing smooth and efficient reloads.

• Kydex holster
• At least 300-500 rounds of ammunition
• 3 magazines
• Magazine holder
• Belt suitable for holster
