Handgun Low Light is an advanced course aimed at helping experienced shooters sharpen their skills. Open to both civilians and law enforcement, it focuses on low-light and no-light shooting situations. The training blends handheld and weapon-mounted lighting techniques with movement and communication. Students can expect lectures, demos, structured practice, and hands-on exercises that push them to create practical, life-saving solutions using methods that work best for them.
Topics Covered
- Biomechanics play a key role in how handgun grip, stance, and shooting performance come together. Lowlight principles, their applications, and deployment methods are essential skills to master. It’s important to understand precision versus stress sight pictures, as well as the impact of dynamic movements, including relocating to different positions. Critical stress can greatly affect performance, making handheld light techniques and communication considerations vital components of effective training.
