Defensive Rifle Low Light (White Light Only)

Description

This advanced low-light tactical rifle course will challenge shooters to their limits. Participants will grasp the difference between precision and combat shooting, and understand how situational awareness can be the key to surviving a gunfight. They’ll practice engaging multiple threats from various shooting positions, learn the distinctions between cover and concealment, and how to use both effectively. The course also covers engaging targets while on the move using off-line attacks, as well as utilizing white light for both defensive and offensive purposes.

Topics Covered

• Shooting fundamentals, flashlight techniques, understanding how to use surrounding light and darkness, handling weapon malfunctions, performing weapon reloads, using cover and concealment, executing off-line attacks, and applying proper low-light searching techniques.

Documentation Requirements

Pre-requisite

Student must have taken a prior defensive course With JMI Training Solutions or a basic pistol/rifle course with a reputable insttructor.

Pass a Combat Efficiency Test (CET) on the day of the course.

Due to local sound ordinance suppressors are mandatory after dusk.
