Description

Our Treating Traumatic Injury Course is designed to give the student the skills and knowledge they need to treat and stabilize a patient prior to EMS arrival.  National statistics show that 35% of all pre-hospital deaths occur due to blood loss prior to EMS’s arrival.

This course is designed to train student to identify the traumatic injury and stabilize and control the bleeding to give the patient a fighting chance. This is an eight hour course which will push the student to their maximum potential.

At the completion of this course the student will receive a Stop The Bleed and USCCA certification. This course is taught by a combination of military, law enforcement and career medical personnel.

At the end of the program the student will be able to confidently understand the mechanism of injury as well as perform the following tasks.

  • Wound Packing
  • Major Burns
  • Pelvis Fractures
  • Rib Fractures
