Description
This course is designed for shooters who want to sharpen their concealed carry skills. You’ll learn to confidently draw your firearm and handle it in challenging situations, meeting New Jersey’s CCW qualification standards. We’ll cover how to clear any outer or inner garment between you and your target, discuss holster placement, types of holsters, and key gear for concealed carry. The course also covers instinctive shooting and when it’s useful in self-defense, as well as techniques for engaging multiple targets while balancing speed and accuracy.
Topics Covered
- Understand your biomechanics to efficiently deploy your weapon, practice shooting on the move, and master the use of cover and concealment. Know the difference between precision shooting and combat shooting, and learn your personal limits for speed and accuracy with a concealed carry weapon. Be aware of how your body will react during any critical incident.

The student will be able to take what they’ve learned in this class and adapt it to fit their needs and lifestyle. They’ll also come to understand the difference between precision shooting and acceptable combat accuracy.
